Stick a fork in the growing season--it's done. We had a frost Sunday night and it was cold again last night. I hope we'll still have Swiss chard for a while since it doesn't mind the cold too much and I've covered it the past few nights.
I love the hoar frost on the plants in the morning. Have to be quick though--it doesn't linger in the early morning sun.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2_cstxR6ANnvL7tUsusygDmQkPj6enUlEfogXPMvr0d0s2Y2yU_8MfEHpb-mo9Lz_iAfzA4g2Lg1aGrm843t4EaNrq69w39wbtKSGNKCv7ivnrq9cx4QkD68wnGNCmL2K26MYL8XALMI/s400/IMG_3171.JPG)

Clicked over from "A Way to Garden" to check out the Connecticut frost. I think I'm still dodging it here (I'm just a little north of NYC) But we did get a lot of wind last night and my halloween decorations are all over the yard!
